4 Ingredients You Wouldn’t Think to Add to Your Bath!
Self care is so important, it lets us have a second of peace to ourselves and it also aids to our health. This detox bath is my ultimate go to for any issue. The book, candle, tea, and face mask were just to create an at home "spa day."
The secret here is MAGNESIUM. It's truly a miracle for the body. The best way to absorb this mineral is through our largest organ, the skin. This bath is great to simply relax but also for sore muscles, sleep issues, etc.
1 cup of Epsom salt or magnesium flakes
1/2 spoonful of Coconut oil (carrier oil)
Any essential oil- I used peppermint if my muscles are sore or lavender to relax
1/2 cup Baking Soda
Soak for about 20 minutes and the magnesium from the salt removes toxins from your body, aids as an anti inflammatory, and gives you magnesium. Make sure to DRINK lots of water afterwards and for best results do right before bedtime.
The baking soda neutralizes the water...our water has chlorine and other chemicals, as well as makes your skin super soft.
