Date Balls



Date Balls:

I can't wait for you to try these. They are a go-to for travel and being on the road! They are also the perfect power ball to get your through a workout or for an afternoon snack!

Ingredients:

1 + 1/3 Cup of raw almonds

20 pitted dates

4 TBSP of raw cacao powder

2 TBSP of almond butter

2 TBSP of chia seeds

Pinch of pink salt

Dash of cinnamon

For rolling (optional):

1/3 Cup of shredded coconut

1/3 Cup of hemp seeds

Directions:

  • In a food processor place raw almonds and blend until it becomes a loose meal.

  • Add in the rest of the ingredients into the food processor and blend. (looking for a loose meal that you can roll)

  • This recipe varies depending on the dates you use. If the mixture is too crumbly add a bit more almond butter or a tbsp of water and mix again.

  • Take1 tablespoon of the mixture out and roll into a ball with your hands, place shredded coconut in a bowl and the hemp seeds in another.

  • Roll the ball to cover the outside in the coconut or the hemp seeds and alternate this process until the mixture is gone.

  • Place balls in the fridge for up to one hour to set in an air tight container!

  • Keep in fridge as a snack!
