I can't wait for you to try these. They are a go-to for travel and being on the road! They are also the perfect power ball to get your through a workout or for an afternoon snack!
1 + 1/3 Cup of raw almonds
20 pitted dates
4 TBSP of raw cacao powder
2 TBSP of almond butter
2 TBSP of chia seeds
Pinch of pink salt
Dash of cinnamon
For rolling (optional):
1/3 Cup of shredded coconut
1/3 Cup of hemp seeds
In a food processor place raw almonds and blend until it becomes a loose meal.
Add in the rest of the ingredients into the food processor and blend. (looking for a loose meal that you can roll)
This recipe varies depending on the dates you use. If the mixture is too crumbly add a bit more almond butter or a tbsp of water and mix again.
Take1 tablespoon of the mixture out and roll into a ball with your hands, place shredded coconut in a bowl and the hemp seeds in another.
Roll the ball to cover the outside in the coconut or the hemp seeds and alternate this process until the mixture is gone.
Place balls in the fridge for up to one hour to set in an air tight container!
Keep in fridge as a snack!
